That’s right, ladies (and perhaps a few gents)! EMODA COSMETICS, the makeup line by mode gal brand EMODA, has just recently launched some new products, including face shading powder, shampoo, conditioner, and treatment concentrate.
To coincide with the launch of the new products, three on-going pop-up shop events at different Tokyo department stores have been scheduled. If you’ll be in Tokyo from now until early September and would like to attend, more information can be found here. An event held on July 12th at Seibu’s Ikebukuro branch included a meet and greet photo session with EMODA producer Ena Matsumoto herself!
- Shade Control Powder (¥2,980)
- Shampoo (¥3,150)
- Treatment (¥3,150 )
- Treatment Hair Concentrate (¥2,626)
The shade control powder is available in two shades and can be used to give the face a more naturally defined, sculpted look. A soft pearl finish leaves your skin healthy and glowing.
The shampoo boats a silicone-free formula for less build-up, helping your hair feel clean and bouncy. Silicone-free shampoos have been quite popular in Japan recently.
The treatment (conditioner) is designed to specifically repair damage and leave your hair with a noticeably better texture. Perfect for those of us who can’t say no to hair color or hot styling tools!
The treatment concentrate contains Vitamin E along with fifteen other types of oils. Used on damp hair—presumably after washing and conditioning and before styling—it promises to give you soft and shiny looking locks.
And even more is on the way! Other new base makeup products, including liquid and powder foundations, concealer, loose face powder, and more, will be launched with the rest of the new A/W 2013 color collection—called “Buddy Closet”—starting on September 13th.
