The Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Horse will begin in January, and Japanese Anna Sui fans (or ruthless online shoppers!) can celebrate it with these adorable accessories from Isetan.
Japanese designer 2PM Works has started taking pre-orders for their new Utena & Anthy (of Revolutionary Girl Utena) inspired shoe designs! You can see more photos of both shoes here on their website.The shoes are in Japanese sizes up to the equivalent of a US Women’s size 7, and cost ￥17,640 (roughly $180 USD). They’re taking pre-orders now (in Japan, if you live elsewhere you’ll have to use a shopping service) and will be released November 18th.
Anna Sui Cosmetics Holiday 2013 Collection
Disney and Anna Sui are teaming up to provide us with the cutest makeup products for Christmas! Minnie Mouse is Suified (yes, I just made that word up) and the resulting packaging is maximum adorable.
- Minnie Mouse Perfect Mascara comes in two versions: 001 Rich Black and 500 Pink Brown. It does not appear that the latter will be sold in Canada, but it may be found online. ¥3,360/$29
- Minnie Mouse Makeup Kit comes in two versions as well: Rock Song (red) and Romantic Serenade (purple.) Each tin box contain an Eyeshadow Compact (a set of 3 eyeshadow colours) and a lipstick. In Canada, this will be exclusive to The Bay.
- Minnie Mouse Lip Balm, ¥2,940/$24
- Minnie Mouse Nail Color N comes in 5 shades: 001 Stardust Silver, 002 Snow White, 200 Midnight Purple, 300 Neon Pink and 400 Passion Red. ¥1,575/$15

As we recently posted, we released of Buying From Japan – a beginner’s guide to buying Japanese fashion on the web. The difficulty curve of getting into Japanese fashion is steep; this guide is designed to arm you with the knowledge you need to start importing clothes from Japan today.
It’s so soft and beautiful. So flowy and lightweight; it’s almost a shame that the reservation period had it arriving at the end of summer rather than the beginning. It’s still warm in Toronto, though, so I’ll get some use out of it this year.
Silk crape with incredible texture. Weighs all of 0.5 nanograms. Dangly cords everywhere. Huge hood. Timeless and Classic by virtue of being really fucking weird. I like it though, despite/because how far out of my comfort zone it is, how it’s almost a museum piece in its in-your-face anti-functionality.

This is the third collaboration between the two brands, and it is exclusive to Japanese store Isetan in Mitsukoshi. Therefore, if you are a Western fan, your only chance to find them is probably on auction sites such as Yahoo! Auctions Japan.
