In the purest Anna Sui style the Butterfly Yukata, also available in sweet pink and electric blue, features the designer’s iconic symbol in a new, original print.
Last but certainly not least, the Heartland Yukata's mesmeric “Heartland” print originates from Anna Sui's immensely favored Spring 2011 collection, as seen here in which “caramel” colourway the yukata is also available.
FUGA recently upped these shots showcasing their current webstore offerings, all notably modeled by MEN’S KNUCKLE regulars like Ryoma Saegami, Kentarou Uemura, and Kazuaki Sakuma. I wouldn’t exactly call these “summer” clothes—indeed, many are actually re-arrivals and older releases from earlier in the spring—but whatever the case may be, sit back, relax, and enjoy the wealth of great jackets, pants, and shirts. We’ll continue to keep you posted as more warm-weather items surface online.
One example of FUGA’s many monotone graphic tees, along with a more season-appropriate vest.
Evidence of the brand’s Lady Gaga mini-collection. Long pants and capri-like shorts embellished with lots of cargo pockets and straps seem to be a FUGA favorite. Styling point: pair with short boots or high-tops (for a more casual look).
So many men’s brands went denim-crazy this spring. Here’s FUGA’s take on the classic denim jacket, along with a motorcycle-style version shown below.
Distressed leathers, gauzy, crushed fabric and draped styling show off the increasing influence of “mode” fashion within onii-kei. Along with BUFFALO BOBS NOIR, FUGA is a brand to watch if you’re into this dark, slightly dystopian look.
It’s also worth mentioning that FUGA is turning five years old! (Aww.) To celebrate, they’ve released a value-packed four-piece leather set consisting of a zip pouch, wallet, key case, and refillable notebook:

With today’s release of the newest Gothic & Lolita Bible (vol.40), we discovered Moi-même-moitié's new summer collection: the Silent Moon Print Series.
As Mana, the brand’s founder and creative director, explained earlier today on his personal blog Monologue+Garden, the print features a full moon peaking through night clouds, making light on a beautiful mysterious European like city view including some impressively detailed gothic architecture.
Unlike to the last print released by the brand, the Holy Stained Glass, this time all 360° of the garment is adorned with the design.
The Silent Moon white OP is modeled by Mana in the may 24th issue of the Gothic & Lolita Bible.
As the gothic lolita brand did with its religious imagery print Divine Cross, the Silent Moon print will be available in many different colors to satisfy those eager to try new coordinates :
White x Black (As seen in the GLB vol.40) White x Blue White x Silver White x Gold ——————- Black x White Black x Blue Black x Silver Black x Gold
All colors available as short (knee-length) or long (calf/ankle lenght, depending on your height) one-piece dress. The Jumper-Skirt will be available in all black versions, as well as white x black print and only black skirts with white, blue and silver print skirts will be on sale. The print is not out yet but should be released in no time, so keep an eye on Moi-même-moitie’s official web-shop!
A new image has also been brought to Moitie’s restricted color palette with the new emerald JSK, that can be matched with the famous diamond cross pendant and a new hair accessory, also produced in green color.
As explained by our well-known Moi-même-moitie model, even though the green has a shiny appearance on the official pictures, the real color of the garment is more toned down and easier to wear on a daily basis than our fellow readers of the GLB might think.
Finally, let’s not forget our elegant gothic aristocrat companions. Moitie didn’t let anyone behind, bringing a new original style that should be worth giving a try.
A very eccentric printed shirt adorned with a removable jabot bringing an original look to any classic black pants and vest coordinate is the new touch brought up by Moitie for the new summer collection. Here worn with a long black gilet, also part of the latest Moi-même-moitié release.
You can find information on all the clothes modeled by Mana in the vol. 40 Gothic & Lolita Bible.
If none of these items is tempting you enough, some items from the Holy Stained Glass series are still available and up on Moi-même-moitié's web-shop, such as the new A4 size original tote bag, the long OP and the second release of the JSK that went sold out in early march. It’s your chance to get it!
Did someone say sweet? Sure did! MA*RS’delectable summer collection is full of all the frills fans have come to expect from the brand, along with some great new prints and combination sets. Sneak a peek at the pieces found in the MA*RS web “newspaper”, with a bunch more on the website:
The styling in these shots really supports MA*RS’ over-the-top image. Bring on the accessories!
Now for some clothing close-ups:
Appropriately dubbed “rose cake,” this decadent print can be found on several items, including a cami top, skirt, hair bow and leg garter. Light, sheer fabrics are a key trend this season as well.
All black seems like an odd choice for spring, but leave it to MA*RS to make it work by bringing in a fresh print. (This same one-piece also comes in a black and light pink color-way for the more pastel-hungry girls among us.) Are you loving the sparkly rabbit bears?
The first in MA*RS’ combination sets, this offering pairs a trendy gingham one-piece with a knitted cardigan. The cardigan could definitely be worn again in the fall, so consider this a very smart buy! MA*RS suggests styling this set with coordinating rose embellished sandals.
Another combination set, this one features a generous assortment of four items, including a dolman sleeve cardigan, trendy loose button-up shirt, printed skirt, and matching retro-girly bow-tie, all for just ¥10,000. (Seeing how a single one-piece can cost about that much, it’s a great value!)
And finally, for the ladies who want a girly but tough look this summer, REAL MA*RS has you covered with two combination sets.
This set mixes a casual tee with mannish suspenders and marine-themed border skirt.
More gingham, this time paired with a satin-trimmed polo and mannish necktie.
What do you think of MA*RS summer collection? Any pieces caught your eye?
