Great online mini-magazine released by Tenjin Core, a gyaru-centric shopping mall in Fukuoka. I’ve reposted all the relevant fashion-related pages below, but be sure to click here to see the entire magazine plus zoom in on each page!
The Japanese Anna Sui Cosmetics website has been updated with this year’s new Beach collection. After last year’s “Sixties Psychedelic Pop Art”, the theme this year is “Glittering Mermaid.”
The new Double Eye Color are duos version of last Christmas’ collection Eye Color Crayon. So pretty! The eye makeup crazies will have lots of fun with these 7 variations. But unless the yen comes back down a bit, they will be sold for approximately US$36 each.
As the heart of the Glittering Mermaid theme, Anna Sui is releasing two limited edition Eye Makeup Sets. Each contain a Glittering Color (01 Silver, 02 Gold) working both on eyelids and lashes, a Color Mascara Waterproof (01 Red, 02 Blue) and an original metal case. Once again unless the Yen comes back down, they should retail for approximately US$45 each.
Also as limited editions are released the above Anna Sui Pedicure Kits. Now that’s interesting! Each contain two Nail Color P (which I suspect stands for Pied, French for foot), either green or red, a 50ml Leg Mist and a fancy Toe Separator. I still can’t decide which one between the red and green kit I’m going to buy! Because let’s face it, at approximately US$58, I won’t buy both!
Stay tuned, cosmetics lovers, when they are made available for purchase online we’ll provide you with the links and hopefully by then, the yen rate won’t be as high!

The 109 shopping site recently released a promo showcasing what they’ve decided are the six big trends for spring. I love that so many of this season’s trends can be mixed and matched, no matter what your style. Which trends are your favorites?
Trend 1: Shirts
Loose button-up shirts are one trend I’m definitely jumping on this season! Depending on the length, shirts like these can be tucked in or worn out. Doesn’t the shop staff on the left look adorable with her floral blouse and high-waisted denim shorts?
Trend 2: Sheer
As this picture shows, there are several ways to wear sheer pieces, including tops, skirts, and even knits. Chiffon is especially lovely, particularly when done in a cute print!
Trend 3: Denim
Light denim is the perfect compliment to both soft pastels and bright colors. And for all the ladies who are tired of skinny jeans, you’re in luck! Bell-bottom jeans are making a big comeback. Best of all, they pair nicely with other 70’s-inspired items, like fringed ponchos (shown below) and wedge shoes (shown above).
Trend 4: Loose Knit
So many choices! There’s something for everyone with this trend, whether you go with an oversized poncho or cardigan.
Trend 5: White
Just like light denim, white is a no brainer for spring. The shop staff on the right has the right idea, too, mixing marine stripes with a retro-girly ruffled skirt and ankle socks!
Trend 6: Vintage Accessories
Accessories are an easy—and usually inexpensive!—way to rock the vintage look. You can definitely see some Native American and other ethnic influences with these items, too.
General: Prints (marine stripes, floral, polka dots, gingham), pops of bright color
